These Guidelines are enacted to encourage outstanding overseas students to attend Chung Hwa University of Medical Technology (hereinafter “University”). To promote international academic exchanges, this scholarship is established to commend outstanding overseas students to pursue degree at this University. The overseas students in these guidelines refer to students from Hong Kong, Macao, Mainland China, or other foreign countries. These guidelines apply only to students enrolled in 2017 academic year or later. The scholarship grantees could be foreign students enrolled in this University, individual applicants through or admitted by UECOC registration and placement (University Entrance Committee for Overseas Chinese), students through Hong Kong-Macao Recruiting Channel, or UECMCS (University Entrance Committee for Mainland Chinese Students). Students enrolled through special overseas programs do not apply to these guidelines. All overseas students studying in this University, no matter what his/her department or schooling system is, could apply to the OICSA (Office of International and Cross-Strait Affairs) if they have never accepted scholarship or grants from other government or privately-owned institutions.
