The Intelligent Operations and Business Management Specialization at the College of
Business integrates expertise from various departments to establish a program focused on providing high-quality international and intelligent operation management talents. Our program is specifically designed for the manufacturing sector in central Taiwan, including industries such as machine tools, automation machinery, bicycles, automotive components, and construction, to meet the cross-disciplinary talent demand trends of integrating IT with management for the future.

Program Highlights:

*Cultivating Professionals with Planning and Integration Skills
In response to global environmental changes such as the COVID-19 pandemic, AI, green energy industries, and geopolitical shifts, many advanced countries have recognized Taiwan's pivotal role in the global supply chain. Located in the heart of central Taiwan, close to the Central Science Park with over 230 enterprises, our program aims to leverage our geographical advantage and professional faculty, software, and learning resources to attract outstanding international students. We are committed to supplying quality management talent in intelligent operations and business management for Taiwan's manufacturing industry.

*Emphasizing Interdisciplinary Practical Application and Problem-Solving
The curriculum is designed around the new industry trends of "Intelligent Operations"
and "Business Management," spanning over 2 years/4 semesters with a total of 30
credits (including 6 credits for the thesis). Students must complete 3 core courses
(including Business Intelligence and Research Methodology) to build foundational
expertise and choose 5 elective courses from both domains to fulfill graduation
requirements. Our program focuses on developing professionals who are adept in
identifying and solving problems in intelligent operations and management, with an
emphasis on information technology and management thinking.

*Enhancing Language Learning and Cross-Cultural Experience
All courses in this master's degree program are taught in English. International students also have the opportunity to participate in Mandarin courses offered by our Language Center to enhance their global competitiveness. Activities such as company visits and short-term exchange programs are designed to deepen understanding and experience of Asian business culture, fostering cross-cultural corporate and communication skills. By enrolling students from various countries and professional backgrounds, our program facilitates the accumulation of cross-cultural interaction abilities. Plans are in place to allow Taiwanese students who meet the English proficiency threshold (e.g., TOEIC score above 750) to participate in the program, thereby enhancing the international perspective of both local and international students and creating a winwin situation.
