With the aim of providing a complete training in India studies, the Program integrates related sources within and outside NTHU to assist in promoting Taiwan’s New Southbound Policy and provides a systematic curriculum plan to develop talent required by industry, government, and academia.
The Program nurtures students’ understanding of Indian society and culture, and encourages them to engage in practical learning and conduct field trips to learn about India’s current development situation and strengthen their ability to deal with related issues, thereby filling existing gaps in human resources.
The Program enhances connections between industry and academia, and initiates an internship system to improve students’ career choices and employment opportunities.
The Program establishes a platform for exchanges between local and foreign teaching communities in connection with India studies to share teaching resources and experiences.
