The mission of Department of Electronic Engineering is to ensure that students acquire a rigorous background in the theory, have the abilities to use the techniques, skills, and tools necessary for engineering practice, acquire fundamental knowledge in the humanities, understand professional engineering ethics and social responsibility, establish a capacity for innovative thinking and possess an understanding of the impact of engineering solutions in the global contexts. Students are encouraged to select one of the following fields as their core curriculum, microelectronics, communications, or computer science. A research center and united research labs also established in order to integrate the three different areas.
