Recognizing the urgent loses of the local culture, Department of Taiwan Languages and Communication is endowed with duties of cultivating talents of local culture and languages in order to bring Taiwan languages and culture to the world.Our educational purposes include training advocates who have solid knowledge of local culture and languages in order to speak for minorities, training media workers who respect plural ethnic cultures, training proponents of Taiwan culture who have global view and broadened horizon.
