The founding of Department of Cultural Tourism (DOCT) follows the national industrial policy and is in line with local development planning. While emphasizing both theoretical thinking and practical business situation, DOCT is an interdisciplinary department drawing on the integration of both teaching/ research and industry cooperation. The cultivation of multiculturalism and Hakka culture is our ultimate goal with special emphasis on the application of technology and with adherence to humanitarian concerns. Built on a foundation of international marketing management and digital information communication, the core of our curriculum planning is the promotion of cultural industry development and fostering of tourism management talent with both local and global vision.
