The Department of Nursing was established in 2013. To meet the world's manpower shortage and the health care needs of the Kinmen people, the department, through solid instruction and clinical practicum, prepares students with skills in core nursing, critical and creative thinking, communication and cooperation, biomedical science, ethical literacy, perseverance, accountability, and lifelong learning. It also emphasizes collaboration and academic exchanges between hospitals and health care institutions in China and the United States.
