Welcome to National Taiwan Sport University! We invite you to explore the diverse and leading community which makes us the cradle of Olympic medalists. Located in Taoyuan City, NTSU is just 30 minutes away from the capital of Taiwan and is in close proximity of Taoyuan International Airport (TPE), Taoyuan City and New Taipei City. With the completion of Taoyuan International Airport MRT by 2016, travelling to and from NTSU will be more convenient and accessible in the near future.
Here at NTSU, we provide top-notch sports facilities, dedicated and experienced professionals, rich yet competitive curriculum in athletics, physical education and management. Moreover, with the commitment and contribution made by all students and faculty staff, our outstanding students and alumni have won many medals in international competitions. Our world-renowned alumni are as follows: Chih-Yuan Chuan became a gold medalist in 2002 World Table Tennis Championship. Mu-Yen Chu, Shih-Yuan Chen and Hui-Ru Wu won a gold medal, a silver medal, and a bronze medal respectively in the 2004 Athens Olympic Games. In addition, in the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games, both Mu-Yen Chu and Wei-Ling Chen won bronze medals in the events of Taekwondo and weightlifting respectively. Ya-Ni Tseng won the 2008 McDanold's LPGA Championship and was awarded Outstanding Female Athlete by the Executive Yuan.
