Would you like to take the opportunity to experience working in a hotel or home stay in Taiwan?

The Youth Development Administration (YDA) of the Ministry of Education has launched a summer work experience program in the hospitality industry and welcomes foreign and overseas Chinese students studying at universities in Taiwan to participate.

During the summer vacation period (from the 15th of June to the 15th of September), you can gain work experience in hotels or home stays and may be exposed to various service tasks and skills in this program. You can also receive a maximum of NTD 9,000 per month in addition to your salary if the working period reaches 30 days at least.

Foreign and overseas students who have worked at hotels or home stays for at least one consecutive month from 15 June to 15 September 2023, and who have completed 80/160 hours per month, may apply for an incentive payment of NT$3,000/6,000 per person per month, in addition to the salary provided by the owner, and an additional NT$3,000 per month for a maximum of three months if the hotel or home stay locates in a remote (specific) area.
