  International Student Scholarship program of National Tsing Hua University established to enhance the University's global character and attract international students to its campus. International students applying for admission in accordance with the Ministry of Education's Regulations for International Students Undertaking Studies in Taiwan shall apply for the scholarship. The selection is based on academic performance, research potential, other possible factors, and availability of funds.

Benefits
1.Full Scholarship (Type A): monthly stipend NTD 20,000 – 40,000* + Tuition fee, Miscellaneous fee and credit fee waiver
Applicable for students pursuing a PhD degree in College of Science, College of Engineering, College of Nuclear Science, College of Life Science, College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science, College of Technology Management, College of Education, or International Intercollegiate PhD Program.
*NTD 10,000 per month provide by the Office of Global Affairs and NTD 10,000~30,000 per month provided by the advisor or academic department.
2.Full Scholarship (Type A): monthly stipend NTD 10,000 + Tuition fee, Miscellaneous fee and credit fee waiver
Applicable for students pursuing a PhD degree in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences OR International Intercollegiate PhD Program whose supervisors are from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences.
3.Tuition Fee Waiver Scholarship (Type B): Tuition fee, Miscellaneous fee and credit fee waiver
Awarded Period 1 year. The applicant should re-apply each year.
Maximum Duration PhD students ≤ 5 years
