The TEEP@YZU Innovation Design Engineering Internship Program is based on design thinking methodology to solve real world problems in Smart living, IoT, Gerontechnology, Big Data, Digital Fabrication, Interaction Design, or Computer Vision and Interactive Technology
In 2-6 months, interns will be guided by inter-disciplinary professors to experience products research, development, testing, or production. Interns will also get a chance to learn Chinese Mandarin, along with Taiwan culture tour, business visits. There is no tuition, and living cost and dormitory are subsided. Welcome international students, college senior or above, who has passion in these fields and good in English to apply.

Yuan Ze University was founded by Far Eastern Group which is one of the biggest conglomerates in Taiwan. With strong linkage with industry, the internship program integrate 2 centers and 2 lab to solve real companies’ problems. The Gerontechnology Research Center (GRC) is a pioneering research center in the field in Taiwan. GRC has been designing technologies and products to provide practical solutions to the various problems of the aging society and has been granted 40+ patents for his innovative products. Smart Production & Innovation Management Research Center provides comprehensive and effective solutions for enterprises to implement "AI Landing" in production and "data-driven" in management. CK fablab focuses on digital fabrication, interaction design, inter-generational care, design thinking, maker education and freeform spatial design. The main core of CK fablab design is “Adaptive”. Through design practices, exploring the interaction between people, objects and the environment. Computer Vision and Interactive Technology (CVIT) Lab performs research on image, video and audio processing in the fields of Deep Learning, object recognition, multimedia processing and computer vision applications.

YZU fosters global mobility, and 1/10 of student body are international students. YZU, located in Taoyuan City, takes only 25 mins to the international airport and 40 mins to Taipei city. So, come and join the unique hands on and minds in learning journey at YZU.
