Yuan Ze University provides an attractive scholarship to encourage and assist international students with outstanding academic performances.
The grants of scholarship, conditions for application, application procedure, and duration are as follows:
1. Grants of Scholarship
(1) Waiver of 100% tuition, miscellaneous fee and credit fee.
(2) Waiver of 50% tuition, miscellaneous fee and credit fee.
(3) Waiver of 20% tuition, miscellaneous fee and credit fee.
(4) Stipend.
2. Conditions for Application
(1) New Students: One or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued following admission.
(2) Existing Students:
i. For a student studying for a bachelor’s degree, one has to complete one semester of studies, earned the minimum number of credits required for each semester, ethics score of 80 or higher, and average academic score of 65 or higher in the previous semester and:
(i) is ranked within the top 20% in his/her class, grant no. (1) or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued.
(ii) is ranked within the top 40% in his/her class, grant no. (2) or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued.
(iii) is ranked within the top 60% in his/her class, grant no. (3) or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued.
ii. For a student studying for a master’s degree, one has to complete one semester of studies, earned at least 6 credits in each semester, an ethics score of 80 or higher, an average academic score of 75 or higher in the previous semester and:
(i) is ranked within the top 50% in his/her class, grant no. (1) or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued.
(ii) is ranked within the top 70% in his/her class, grant no. (2) or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued.
(iii) grants no. (3) Or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued.
iii. For a student studying for a Ph.D. degree, one has to complete one semester of studies, earned at least 6 credits in each semester and an ethics score of 80 or higher, grant no. (1) or multiple grants under Paragraph 1 of this Article may be issued.
iv. If a student studying for a master’s or Ph.D. degree fails to earn the 6 credits required during the thesis preparation period, a recommendation letter from the thesis advisor and the thesis preparation plan should be submitted in the application.
v. If the above conditions are not satisfied, an application may be filed through a recommendation of the department/school.
