The program is positioned as an industry-oriented master's degree program, dedicated to the innovation and application of nanoengineering and technology. This systematic curriculum involves industrial cooperation and internship opportunities that outlines long-term planning and development structures used to overcome industrial difficulties.

The program divides the fields of nanoengineering and science into the following three sub-fields:
- Low-Dimensional semiconductor research
- Nanoengineering and Micro-electro-mechanical systems (MEMS)
- Advanced process and precision measurement

The main purpose of these sub-fields is to provide a sense of direction for the student moving forward towards industry with their respective expertise and research interests. Although each curriculum is designated to have different research topics and expertise, students will have the opportunity to explore the knowledge and topics of these sub-fields.​
