The department was approved by the Ministry of Education in 1996 to enroll students, and has approved the establishment of a master's program. In addition to integrating the in-house resources of the School of Stomatology to strengthen the learning effect, the department also uses the Taipei Medical University Hospital, Wanfang Hospital and the Dental Department of Shuanghe Hospital as important institutions for students' clinical internships, in terms of theoretical foundations, internship operations, and clinical practice. Thanks to the professional training, it is expected that the department will become the most complete and advanced clinical teaching center for dental technicians in the country.
