This doctoral program was first established in Fall 2001. After the merging of three universities in 2018, this program preserves the integrative feature to combine close to 60 faculty members from three engineering departments of the College of Engineering at the First Campus of the National Kaohsiung University of Science and Technology to maximize the education resources. The program consists of four specialized fields: Mechatronics Enginnering, Construction Engineering, Safety Health and Environmental Engineering, and Engineering Management. The students studied in this program can select courses and seek academic advice from interdisciplinary fields. The doctoral program aims to achieve the goal of first-class academic research and industrial applications by the close collaboration of professional administrative staff and outstanding academic faculty.
