The Department of Safety, Health and Environmental Engineering was established in 1997. The mission of the department is to achieve significant advancement in teaching and researches, thus allowing fostering knowledgeable and well-trained professionals within the expanded scope of safety, health or environmental engineering. It is also the department’s goal to prepare the students with the ability to identify, formulate and contribute resilient and sustainable solutions to various engineering challenges in the world, today and tomorrow. The department provides supportive learning environment to the students through classrooms, laboratories, design projects, research projects, as well as field internships.
