The department of Industrial Engineering and Management (IEM) was established in 1987. Along with the upgrading of the school to technological university, in 1998 the systems for two-year and four-year curricula were also subsequently established at our department. In 2001, a Master’s degree program was setup. Then in 2004, on-job training master program was also launched. And the department of Industrial Engineering and Management will setup doctor degree program in 2016. The objective is to cultivate high-level industrial management personnel with a view to meeting the goal in terms of the currently industrial management globalization for personnel development.
In response to the changing trend of the times and the needs of industrial talents, this department cooperates with the government's industrial structure optimization strategy (manufacturing wisdom, manufacturing service, service industry technology, and traditional industry characteristics), curriculum planning and design content in addition to industrial engineering. In addition to the management program, it also has industrial management, e-business, service innovation and technology management. The four modules are as follows:

2. Statistical Quality Control and Measurement for Decision-Making
3. Industrial Management and Electronics
4. Service Innovation and Technology Management
