Curriculum Features
The Department of Dance emphasizes both theory and practice. Technique classes are divided into two different levels according to students' abilities. The teaching focuses on fostering students'
creativity and diversity in dance creation, teaching, and performance. Additionally, the Teacher Education Center provides curricula for those who aim at becoming dance teachers.
Internship Programs
The juniors of the four-year college program can apply to take a two-credit practicum at a private setting during the summer break. For example, students may have their internship at Cloud Gate Dance Studio or at Da-Wan Primary School. They also have to participate in conferences or workshops to improve their abilities in performance, adjustment, and competitiveness.
Career Opportunities
As future dance teachers, choreographers, and dancers, they can fulll their dreams by working at dance studios, kindergartens, primary schools, nursery homes, or with dance groups.
