The Music Department encourages students to participate in exciting and diverse musical performances, not only within the community, but also through various venues such as churches, historic sites, local hospitals and remote regions throughout Taiwan. We believe that serving the community with music will greatly help our students to be more aware of the world around them.
Career Opportunities
For nearly half a century, the TUT Music Department has nurtured numerous musicians, of which many have become prominent figures as opera singers, concert soloists, orchestra members, college professors and music teachers in various institutions, as well as outstanding professionals in applied music, arts administration, and creative cultural industries.
