Curriculum Features
The professional program specializes in fashion accessories. Students gain experience with covered shoes and bags, and other related product design and development aspects. The course also involves 3D digital pattern design, computer-software-design based training, and market analysis that assists students in obtaining professional licenses and diverse creative design abilities.
Internship Programs
During the summer, students have opportunities to intern at relevant manufacturers for real-life fashion design experience. Other plans have seniors placed at the "Footwear & Recreation Technology Research Institute," and industrial interns are trained for four and a half months to a year to cultivate their ability in designing bags and shoes.
Career Opportunities
There are many prospective jobs for the future, such as:
1. Fashion design personnel: Fashion designer, fashion information analyst, computer graphics designer, visual merchandiser, weaving/textile designer, textile printing designer, brand image planner, micro-enterprise personnel, and creative art executive.
2. Design talents in footwear/bags: Handbag designer, shoe and boot designer, handbag pattern-maker, shoe and boot pattern-maker, leather bag design developer, sewing, and tailoring personnel.
