Curriculum Features
Our curriculum is focused on the connection of product design concepts and craft innovations. Product design and craft design are the two main teaching axes of our department. As related to
practical fields, our industry-university cooperation projects are based on the two axes of design competitions and research projects. Moreover, we apply the concepts and ideas of cultural innovations to product design and manufacturing for the "cultural and creativity industry."
Internship Programs
The department emphasizes practical learning and training for students in order to promote their abilities for the job market. The junior students are required to take part in practical industry
training during summer vacation. Students can achieve practical working experience and experience real situations and aspects of the workplace. This may enrich their professional skills and increase their future work choice options.
Career Opportunities
1. Students focusing on ideas and innovations can be product designers, product planners, design promoters, and studio managers.
2. Students focusing on self-development and the innovation of crafts can be jewelry and accessory designers, metalwork craftsmen, porcelain and wood designers, ceramic painters, ceramic kilning technicians, and art consultants.
