The Ph.D. program in College of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science is open to students who have a master’s degree and are dedicated to research, where their abilities for developing practical applications in technology and high-level integration of electrical engineering and computer science will be honed. We offer courses in intelligent computing, IC design, and information/communication engineering, where we expect students will be interested in learning, accomplishing useful research and developing teamwork.
Ph.D. courses in electrical engineering and computer science have three major areas: Computer Science, Electrical Engineering and Communication Engineering.
Computer Science: Courses focus on networking and multimedia development.
Electrical Engineering: Courses are related to digital /analog and mixed signal IC design, computer engineering and system engineering.
Communication Engineering: Courses center on wireless communications, multimedia signal processing and RF IC design.
