The Master's Program in Social Work was established in 1998, with the undergraduate's program added in 2000.
Upholding the philosophy of "Human-centeredness" and "Respect for Life," the curriculum encompasses both theory and practice. Links are created with social welfare resources in eastern Taiwan and also that of the Tzu Chi Foundation, so as to develop professional social workers with a spirit of benevolence and compassion.
