I. Direction of Development
The International PhD Program in Taiwan and Transcultural Studies bases its research on the studies in Taiwan humanities and cultures, and extends its research focus on prospective topics in international and transcultural contexts. The program aims to develop an interdisciplinary and prospective research on international humanities. The program is also dedicated to equipping students with fundamental research abilities to practice textual analysis, conduct fieldwork and apply theoretical knowledge, and moreover, to helping them develop multi-faceted specialty that attends to theory and practice with global perspective and local knowledge.

II. Focus of Development
