Teaching and Research:

1. The department organizes teaching and research into three major fields: agricultural economics, resource and environmental economics, and industrial economics. In order to give our students the greatest opportunity for success in the job market after graduation, we design core courses so that students are able to gain comprehensive understanding in each field.

2. We seek faculty with specialties in line with our long-term teaching and research direction, and encourage their participation in study products.

3. The Department encourages international exchanges and training in academic research methods for junior faculty so that they have the opportunity to broaden their vision of teaching and study.

4. The Department embraces a spirit of international exchange with other advanced counties both by inviting famous experts and scholars to provide lectures and courses to our students, and by helping our graduate students arrange short term research projects abroad
