A.Introduction
1.ISAPS was established with only MS program on August 1, 2008.
2.On August 1, 2013, ISAPS was renamed to “Institute of Space and Plasma Sciences” and a PhD program began.
3.We are the only institute concentrating on plasma sciences in Taiwan.
B.Research Areas
1.Space Sciences: To perform advanced research in solar-terrestrial physics and establish the capability to build payload instruments for implementing scientific missions for both satellites and rockets so as to develop distinguished experts in space sciences and techniques.
2.Plasma Sciences: To implement experiments and develop theories in high-temperature magnetized plasma sciences and their applications to research in fusion energy sciences.
