Department of Applied Mathematics, NSYSU, offers Bachelor degree program, Master degree program as well as Doctoral degree program. Our master program contains four divisions: Statistics, Scientific Computing, Mathematics, and Data Science which is an interdisciplinary program. In 2021 QS World University Rankings, our Department was ranked 200-250 in the world, and 4th in Taiwan. We are dedicated towards Teaching and Research. Our graduates have among themselves 120 Ph.D.’s. All our graduate courses can be taught in English. In 2021, NSYSU was selected as one of the four key cultivation schools of MOE’s Program on Bilingual Education for Students in College. Our Department was also approved by MOE to join a National Elite Education Project for nurturing talents in Semiconductor, AI and Mechanical Engineering.
