The Institute’s educational objective is to provide a comprehensive insight into the different fields and methods of art history in order to empower students to develop in-depth knowledge, aesthetic judgment and global perspective, to think critically, to acquire faculties in promoting art appreciation, and to obtain an understanding for the preservation and maintenance of cultural heritage.
*There are two divisions:
Division of Eastern Art History (EAH): Program taught in Chinese
Division of Western Art History (WAH): Program taught in English
