According to the laws and regulations in Taiwan, all inbound travelers are required to undergo home quarantine and complete the survey of "Quarantine System for Entry": 

1. All inbound travelers are required to stay at a quarantine hotel to undergo home quarantine if you don’t have a separate room (including a separate bathroom) or if you live with elderly people 65 years old or older, children 6 years old or under, or persons with chronic diseases (such as cardiovascular disease, diabetes or lung disease, etc.).

In response to the current virus pandemic, the Tourism Bureau, Ministry of Transportation & Communications is providing financial aid to city and county governments to encourage hotels to participate in the “Epidemic Prevention Quarantine Hotels” program. The program is currently scheduled to run from April 1 to August 31, 2020. The objective is to provide a safe and secure way for those entering the country to undergo quarantine measures. This is part of the government’s efforts to control the spread of the COVOD-19 virus and reduce risks to the general community.

Every city and county government in Taiwan has now established approved quarantine hotels. For those who will be staying at these facilities, please consult the responsible administrative officials in your specific area for further guidance.
