  • The opening ceremony of the 2022 NAFSA Conference's Taiwan booth had a resounding success


FICHET has organized the Study in Taiwan booth at NAFSA Annual Conference & Expo to promote high-quality higher education opportunities in Taiwan and to actively develop diverse collaboration initiatives since 2007. 
 
We are so happy to share that Ambassador Bi-khim Hsiao attended the opening ceremony of the 2022 NAFSA Conference's Taiwan Booth today in Denver, Colorado, USA. Headed by Deputy Minister of Education Dr. Lio Mon-chi, the delegation is comprised of leaderships from the U.S. Department of State, Deputy Assistant Secretary Camille P. Dawson, NAFSA Deputy Executive Director Dorothea Antonio, American Institute in Taiwan, Section Chief Diane Sovereign, Taipei Economic and Cultural Office in Denver, Director General Shih-Chang Huang, Overseas Community Affairs Council (OCAC), National Cheng Kung University President Dr. Huey-Jen Jenny Su, National Dong Hwa University President Dr. Han-Chieh Chao, National Taiwan University Executive Vice President Dr. Chia-Pei Chou, National Yang Ming Chiao Tung University Vice President Dr. Tzu-Hao Cheng, Taipei Medical University Vice President Dr. Chieh-Hsi Wu and Foundation for Scholarly Exchange (Fulbright Taiwan). There are also universities from Chung Shan Medical University, Chang Gung University, National Central University, National Chung Hsing University, National Chengchi University, National Tsing Hua University, National Taichung University of Education and Tamkang University participate in the opening ceremony.
 
Taiwan and the U.S. share values of freedom and democracy, and are partners for international exchange and cooperation.
