I am a graduate student for hydraulic engineering, mostly focusing on slope-land disaster and how to reduce it. The first impression of Taiwan was that, although the topography is not exactly the same, Taiwan and my country Nepal have many similar natural disasters. After living in Taiwan for several months, I found that people in Taiwan really like to help others. Life in and around campus is pretty good.
