Our curriculum is designed be internationalized, empiricalized and inter-disciplinary integrated.

Other than placing special emphasis on training and understanding of Anglo-American Laws, as our on-going effort to internationalize our courses, we offers course on American Intellectual Property, International Intellectual Property, WTO Organization and such. In addition, to improve our student's English ability, certain courses such as "Introduction of Anglo-American Law","WTO Organization," and more, are conducted in full English including student's writing assignment. Last but not least, each year, professors from John Marshall Law School, will personally offer courses in Taiwan, our student will a first-hand instruction on latest legal development in U.S., without the hassle of traveling to the States!

On the empirical study front, our institute has been traditionally placing significant focus on integrating legal theory with real-world practices. our institute offers courses such as "Patent Practice," and "Case Study on American Intellectual Property" as part of our continuous effort in empirical integrations. Recently we also offer a course on "Courtroom Internship," jointly with Taipei District Court and other Courts as well. Each student will assigned to a judge and will witness first hand on how legal system works in the real world. This course allows a rare opportunity for students to put laws in book into laws in action! Moreover, to improve student's litigation ability, a special course on "Legal Brief Writing" is also offered, this course is conducted by distinguished and seasoned law practitioners. In this course, our students will be instructed on practical legal procedure, brief format, civil procedure, case investigation and all the essential skills need to be an effective law practitioner. As the ultimate challenge to student's brief writing and oral argument skills, our institute offers a course on "International Moot Competition," this will test a student's ability in applying abstract legal theory into an actual case.
The need for Inter-disciplinary Integration is an essential for any law practitioner to adequately address new issues emerged as the response to our multifaceted society. Student who has prior training, are required to take "Introduction to Innovative Technology," in order to facilitate their understanding in recent technological development. We also offer many course on Laws in Telecommunication, Biotechnology to further enhance our student's appreciation on legal issues within high-tech fields. Moreover, to give our student a boarder perspective, we also offer inter-disciplinary courses such as "Law and Economic," "Law and Society," and such. Due the encompassing nature of technology law, issues arise in this field are often also involved with international trade, foreign law and many times are issue un-address or even unimagined by traditional legal research. To meet such challenges, our institute's teaching and research are not limited within the field of law, often time, we will start from a broader and more comprehensive perspective on our quest in exploring issues in technology law.
