In order to encourage high school graduates to associate with university life, courses and lifestyle, Tzu Chi University has started this Prospective Student Credit Program for students to choose the courses they are interested in. Students in this Prospective Student Credit Program are not the school's official students, but they can choose their course their course freely regardless of the departments. Students are required to take a minimum of 16 credit points, which includes a compulsory foreign student Chinese lesson. Students who score 60 and above for the courses during foundation can apply for credits exemption when he/she is officially enrolled in TCU. However, the respective departments will have the final decision whether or not a particular credit score is able for exemption. After completing the Prospective Student Credit course, students are able to apply for the Autumn or Spring intake.
