Scholarship For Overseas Chinese Students

NQU Offers Full Scholarship to all enrolled Overseas Chinese Students in the FIRST YEAR (2 semesters).

  • Tuition Refund-students pay for their full tuition and will receive 100% refund afterwards
  • Dormitory-students pay for their full dormitory fees and will receive 100% refund afterwards.

NQU Offers HALF or FULL Scholarship to all ongoing Overseas Chinese Students from the 2nd year according to their academic performances.

For Generally Overseas Chinese Students Students

  • FULL Scholarship-students reach top 50% in his/her class in academic performance are entitled to a FULL scholarship.  The paid tuition and dorm fee will be FULLY refunded afterwards.
  • HALF Scholarship-students reach top 75% in his/her class in academic performance are entitled to a HALF scholarship.  Half (50%) of the paid tuition and dorm fee will be refunded afterwards.

For Economically Weaker Overseas Chinese Students

  • FULL Scholarship-students reach top 75% in his/her class in academic performance are entitled to a FULL scholarship.  The paid tuition and dorm fee will be FULLY refunded afterwards.
  • HALF Scholarship-students didn’t reach top 75% in his/her class in academic performance are entitled to a HALF scholarship.  Half (50%) of the paid tuition and dorm fee will be refunded afterwards.

Allowance

Allowance for Outstanding International Students—Enrolled International Students will be granted this allowance of USD 1334 in the first year, i.e. USD 667 per semester.

SUBSIDY

Students Subsidy-Kinmen County Government offers all bachelor students in NQU a subsidy of USD 334 every year, i.e. USD 167 per semester.

VOUCHER

Voucher-also named Coupon, issued by Kinmen County Government. All students in Kinmen will be given this voucher which worth of USD 134, i.e. USD 67 per semester.  Students can hold these vouchers and go to supermarket or a lot of store in Kinmen to buy books, stationery, domestic flight ticket to Taiwan, or grocery and foods.
