Introduction
The Department of Electrical Engineering (EE) was established in August 2008 with the mission of educating and incubating valuable high-tech human resources to the electrical engineering related industries. The EE department aims to explore students’ potential in finding and solving the basic scientific and engineering problems in electrical engineering related areas, and to help the EE students in fulfilling their career in EE related industries. The curriculum in the EE department emphasizes on Semiconductor Devices and Optoelectronic Components, Integrated Circuit Design and Applications, Microwave Circuit and Antenna Design, Wisdom Perception System and Robot System, Communications and Signal Processing, Computer and Control Systems, Power Electronics Circuits and Systems, Optical Fiber Communication System and Application, Biomedical Electronics and System, Internet of Things Applications, Green Energy System, and System Design and Electronics Practice.

Curriculum Planning for Undergraduate Students
The department offers electronics and system design curriculum, communication and signal processing curriculum, and computer and control system curriculum along with course road map by its own for all EE students.To be graduated from the bachelor program, the EE undergraduate student is required to take 128 course credits, which consists of 30 school compulsory credits, 60 EE compulsory credits, and 38 EE selective credits.

Curriculum Planning for Graduate Students
The department offers electronics and system design curriculum, communication and signal processing curriculum, and computer and control system curriculum along with course road map by its own for all EE students.To be graduated from the bachelor program, the EE undergraduate student is required to take 32 course credits, which consists of 2 compulsory credits, 24 selective credits and 6 thesis credits.
