The Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering is dedicated to nurturing high-tech talent in the field of electronic engineering and plays a leading role in connecting basic research with industrial applications.
By building a strong theoretical knowledge base, combined with training in practical applications, we train electronic specialists with an international view and innovative spirit. Through cooperation projects with the industry and real-world tasks for our students, we prepare our students for careers in the manufacturing industry. Our graduates have the ability to design, manufacture, maintain and test systems and elements in the fields of electronics, information communication and photo-electronics.
Our department, which has 30 full-time members of faculty and almost 1000 students, has set up three teaching group: The Computer Engineering Group, the Electronic System Group and the Optoelectronic/Semiconductor Group. An advisory committee, formed by our expert-alumni and specialists from other fields, regularly gives advice on designing courses which meet the needs of industry.
