With the rapid maturation of digital technology and its integration into the lives of ordinary people, the application of digital technology can be said to be ubiquitous. Especially whenever a new generation of digital technology emerges, more innovative applications will occur in all walks of life. In the past, existing agricultural and fishery production and sales, or traditional products and services, etc., when they were able to incorporate digital technology innovations, were often refreshing and created more attractive new products or services.

The use of digital technology innovation services to cross-boundary assistance in the service and production of traditional industries, combined with cultural creativity and user experience in product design, is the major development trend in the future. Therefore, Tunghai University officially established the first digital innovation master program in Taiwan in 2015. It recruits students from various fields, and graduate students will be able to obtain a master degree in digital innovation design.

The Master Program of Digital Innovation at Tunghai University emphasizes cooperation with industry practice. Students can choose not to write papers, but use design works as graduation options. This master program aims at promoting international digital innovation exchanges and cooperation at the same time, encouraging teachers and students to establish cooperation teams across the country and improve the international design vision.
