The Department of Computer and Communication Engineering was established in August 2005. In order to meet the demand for domestic high-tech manpower, the department is dedicated to cultivating future high-level computer and communication professionals with both comprehensive academic and practical training.
Our theoretical foundation and practical application courses establish students with a basis of competence in computer and communication engineering. Additionally, our courses enable students to be highly qualified for the job market. Many students get professional certification before graduation. All of our faculty members have either a Ph.D. or a wealth of professional practical experience in subjects related to the computer and communication field. Currently, four-year college programs of the Department of Computer and Communication Engineering are offered by both the day and night divisions.
The mission of the Department is to educate students in professional practices with an emphasis on the integration of computer and communication technologies. The department has two major concentrations, including the applications of computer networks, network managements, and the applications of communication technology. The department also offers network setup and management, embedded systems design and application, principles of the single-chip microprocessor, the application of digital signal processing, phone interface applications, and communication theory and application.
The department emphasizes building solid, theoretical foundations for students, training them to utilize the latest and most advanced technologies, and elevating professional skills, in order to ensure that every graduate can satisfy the job market needs immediately.
