The International Undergraduate Program in Business and Management (IUBM) is part of the academic offerings of the College of Business (COB), Chung Yuan Christian University (CYCU). The Program is one of the three all-English international programs in the COB, and is the younger sibling of the International Master of Business Administration (IMBA Program) Program, and the Doctor of Philosophy in Business (PhD in Business Program). The COB was accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) in 2015 and is among the top 5% out of the 16,000 business schools in the world. The IUBM Program is supported by the COB’s 90 full-time faculty members, 98% of which have doctoral degrees.

Features of IUBM Program

The COB strengthens the overarching mission of CYCU in teaching the university's holistic education philosophy for its students. The IUBM Program supports this by:
integrating CYCU’s educational philosophy, by nurturing its undergraduate students’ well-rounded personas, and instilling in them the importance of character growth, team work, and innovative ideas;
providing a systemized learning model, which allows undergraduate students to explore courses based on their interests by utilizing a four-area curriculum: Business Administration, International Business and Trade, Finance and Accounting, and Information Management;
promoting an ethical and a socially inclusive mindset, by encouraging students to take courses related to ethics and service learning to develop their multidisciplinary professional abilities; and
challenging students to address real-world dilemmas, by implementing Problem-Based Learning (PBL) methods, which contribute to higher-order thinking and encourages hands-on participation.
The COB is dedicated to offering its undergraduate students international opportunities, by collaborating with several global sister universities such as: Michigan Technological University (U.S.), University of North Carolina (U.S.), Pittsburgh State University (U.S.), Reading University (Britain), SKEMA Business School (France), University of South Australia (Australia), and Beijing Institute of Technology (Mainland China).

Undergraduate students who plan to enroll in the COB’s IMBA Program, which succeeds its undergraduate counterpart, may choose the 4+1 Curriculum, which allows students to earn their Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in a shorter period of time; 5 years instead of 6 years.
