The mission of the department is to train students to be human service professionals with strong ethics, life-respect in addition to multi-disciplinary skills and a holistic care capacity for the senior population. The education goals are to fulfill the bio-psycho-social, spiritual, cultural, environmental, and recreational needs as well as to promote the best quality of life and dignity for the aging population by learning of care service, care management, and health promotion.
