Our goals are to cultivate qualify personnel with management, finance, and insurance marketing professional competency.
(1) Professional knowledge - expression, analysis and decision-making
As the goal of shaping comprehensive professional financial and insurance marketing personnel, we are not only to strengthen the necessary basic training for financial and risk management, but also to train students with a rational analysis and investment decision-making capabilities.
(2) Academic passion - theory, international vision, foreign language and information application capabilities.
Through the study of knowledge, we hope to build up students with a solid financial theory basis and learning enthusiasm, and to encourage them to possess foreign language skills and IT proficiency.
(3) Moral education - ethics, professionalism and mature
Strengthen whole person education with valuing professional and dedication both, encouraged them to learn how to interact, cooperate, coordinate with others, so as to cultivate a dedicated, talented personnel with team spirit.
(4) Regard of enterprises - enterprises, community and social care
To invite or engage lecturers having extensive practical experience to come to teach or lecture, then also enhance communication with the business community. By organizing interaction with the community service activities to promote interplay between students and community, so to strengthen the ability of students of social care to implement.
為因應台灣金融自由化、國際化與資訊科技化之趨勢，並具備社會責任之優質金融管理人才，本系以「全人學習」的理念為出發點，培養具倫理道德、重視國際視及具備專業與實務並重的金融管理人才為宗旨。為達此宗旨，本系之之發展重點分述如下：
(一)專業知能－溝通、分析與決策
以塑造「全方位」的專業金融保險行銷人才為目標，除了加強一般金融與風險管理的必備基礎訓練外，更要培養學生具理性分析與投資決策的能力。
(二)學術熱情－理論、國際觀、外語能力與資訊應用能力
希望透過知識的學習，以建立學生紮實的金融理論基礎與學習熱忱，並積極鼓勵學生培養外語能力與資訊應用能力為目標。
(三)道德教育－倫理、敬業與穩健
加強專業與敬業並重的「全人」教育方式，期勉學生學習如何與人相處、合作、協調與訓練團隊精神，藉以培養敬業、優秀的人才。
(四)企業情懷－企業、社區與社會關懷
邀請學有專長及豐富務經驗之各界人士前來任教或演講，以增進與企業界的交流。並藉由舉辦與社區互動的服務活動，來增進學生與社會社區之間的交流，以加強學生之社會關懷實作的能力。
