Introduction
In response to the worldwide development of digital content and to cultural and creative
industries, the first department of Digital Game Design was established in 2006 in STU.
In 2007, the department was renamed the Department of Digital Technology and Game
Design (DTGD) and was changed to the Department of Animation and Game Design (DAGD) in 2011. This department focuses on nurturing and training professionals in many design disciplines including animation design, digital game design, digital multimedia design, digital animation design, e-learning, interactive digital design, etc., in order to enhance the international competitiveness of the digital content, cultural, and creative industries.
Curriculum Features
We build a creative environment for our students and guide their developing skills in game and animation design. We address important cultural contexts such as understanding user experience, social change, digital content, and the ability to implement new technologies while working in teams.
Furthermore, we fully developed the Digital Content Innovation Product, based on digital
content that is converted into a product. In other words, we would like to help students
develop their careers in the future.
Finally, we provide students with a wide array of skills required in this exciting industry.
Our curriculum design is very flexible, creative, and has commercial value.

Future Perspectives
Employment Opportunities

group focused exclusively on game and animation design. Moreover, many departments
receive relevant teaching support from us such as communication design, information
engineering, information management, and computer communications. In addition, this
school provides many opportunities for studying abroad.
