本系組主要在培育公共事務規劃及經營管理人才。此角色具備多元特質，公共事務的管理者既必須配合公部門環境的特質，又需輔以企業管理策略與技術之應用，其中牽涉層面甚廣，關係著管理、法律、政治、社會、心理與財經等多種領域。加以公共事務日益繁雜，環境變遷快速，因此，有效的跨領域整合、靈活應對變異之能力，以及宏觀視野，是本系組所欲培養公共事務專業人才所需的必備條件。畢業後也可前往民間企業或非營利組織發展，各機構之專業經理人、人力資源管理、公共關係及經營企劃等職務，都可發揮在校所學，一展管理方面之才。

The main purpose is to cultivate public affairs planning and management personnel. This role has multiple characteristics, public affairs managers must not only suit the characteristics of the public sector environment, but also supplemented by enterprise management strategies and technology applications, which involves a wide range, like the relationship between management, law, politics, society, Financial and other fields. Therefore, effective cross-domain integration, the flexibility to respond to variability, and macro vision are the necessary condition for the Department to cultivate the professionals of public affairs. After graduation can also go to the private enterprises or non-profit organizations, human resources management, public relations and business planning and other duties.
