本系學士班之發展重點為「文學設計」，以培養學生投入文創產業的能力為目標。在課程規劃上，對於所學的科目，無論是詩、詞、曲、小說或戲劇，重點在於讓學生學會將中國文學的材料，運用到生活和職場中，以寫出具有創意的作品。訓練學生成為一個充滿創意的「文化創意產業」專業人員，並協助學生及早與業界建立關係，以利求職或進修。

The development of the Bachelor's program focuses on "literary design", aiming at the ability of students to invest in cultural industries. In the curriculum planning, for the subjects, whether it is poetry, words, songs, novels or drama, the focus is to allow students to learn the materials of Chinese literature, applied to life and workplace, to write creative works. Train students to become a creative "creative industry" professionals and help students to establish relationships with the industry early in order to seek employment or advanced studies.
