Introduction
To meet the high demand for fashion and beauty professionals, the Department of Fashion & Beauty was established in 2009. We provide knowledge of up-to-date fashion and beauty trends and a platform where creativity gets down to business. The curriculums will focus on medical cosmetology, overall styling, and the research and development of cosmetics and fragrance products. The department also provides internship opportunities at a leading fashion and beauty companies. We strive to prepare students for professional excellence in the field of fashion and beauty.Special Features
The department signed a strategic alliance with more than 20 industries, including well known chain drugstores, medical cosmetic centers, hair salons, bridal styling companies, spa centers, and hotels, etc. Students have various internship opportunities and better chances to get the jobs afterward. Students are required to possess styling ability of makeup, nail art, and hair. They also learn the knowledge about cosmetology and health, and marketing management of fashion and beauty. Ultimately, the students shall acquire the ability to appreciate aesthetics.

Faculty
There are 6 full-time faculties in the department. 4 of them hold doctoral degrees; 2 of them own master’s degrees.

Facilities
The facilities of the department include aromatherapy and skincare classroom, styling classroom, photos hooting studio, hairstyling practicing classroom, aromatherapy and skincare practicing classroom, cosmetic testing laboratory.

Career Prospects
Fashion & beauty graduates are highly employable. Graduates can expect to work as aromatherapist, Chinese medical cosmetologist, Western medical cosmetologist, drugstore marketing manager, makeup artist, hairdresser, stylist, accessory designers, bridal stylist, beauty consultant, cosmetology instructor and professional hair style instructor.
