Our bachelor’s degree program was established in 2002 and it is jointly run by the graduated institutes of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences. The aim of the program is to equip students with integrated knowledge and competencies in humanities and social sciences, and to enable them to address the challenges facing the contemporary world. Our curriculum is designed to balance both the needs of interdisciplinary exploration and professional training. The first two years of the curriculum are devoted to provide the students a solid training in humanities and social sciences in general, and a chance to explore various disciplines. Juniors and seniors are then required to deepen their knowledge in two of the following nine fields, including History, Philosophy, Sociology, Anthropology, Political Economy, "Literature and Creative Writing", Linguistics, Cultural Studies and Gender Studies.
