About us
The Department of Information Management at Da-Yeh University was the first to offer an undergraduate program and a master program in information management among all universities in central Taiwan. The size, educational quality, and research activities of the Department have been regarded as one of the leading Information Management departments in Taiwan. We teach, study, and connect at Management College, and we have accumulated the experience and knowledge for more than 20 years. It provides our students with an integrated training of information technologies and proficient management skills.

Distinguished features
•It is the only one Certification Center of Master Of Computer Certificate (MOCC) in Changhua.
It also cooperates with Pearson VUE test center.
•Hiring of practice teachers offers students for specific teaching services.
•It operates an internship program. This program provides our undergraduate students with a wide range of opportunities
to apply their knowledge and skills in a structured professional environment under the supervision, guidance and
mentoring of current practitioners in the information profession.

Department highlights
The Department of Information Management has three main course categories including e-business, digital content, and information systems development. These programs are conducted on a wide range of topics in enterprise resource planning (ERP), e-commerce (EC), data mining, information security, and multimedia. The Department is renowned for its excellence in research, practice, and academia.
•To provide an environment in which all members of the Department can enhance their skills, and apply them to a wide
range of theoretical and practical problems in the service of the wider business environment.
•To provide the teaching of high quality at undergraduate and postgraduate levels so that the students may integrate into
the business environment swiftly.

Honors
The Department’s professors and students participate actively in international and domestic software development competition, including International Collegiate Programming Contest and e-commerce planning competition at JiangSu University, China. Past 5 years (2011-2015), we won over 25 awards. Our students are very active in extracurricular activities in which they demonstrate their leadership and teamwork.
