Department Highlights

The main focus of MAE’s curricular programs is to generate a startup sustainable ability in terms of micro-electromechanical systems, robotics, and advanced vehicles. Also, we emphasize balance in both theory and practice on the foundation of apprenticeship in an interdisciplinary manner.
In order to be updated on the technology trends, MAE has been focusing on the following research areas: “vehicle technology and green energy”, “MEMS and high precision machine”, and “mechatronics”. Besides. With the aim to provide qualified educational services, one-third of our courses offered by professional industry professionals. This ensures that students can keep track of the most up-to-date knowledge and skills in real practice.
As a matter of fact, every year, over 30 of our students obtain first prizes in domestic or international technology-related areas competitions.
Moreover, MAE proudly holds the accreditation of engineering and technology education programs from the IEET (The Institute of Engineering Education Taiwan); therefore, all our conferred diplomas are recognized internationally.
