1. Courses that combine with the organ system could make medical education more integrated and complete, also to enhance medical students’ learning effectiveness unlike traditional courses that separate basic and clinical courses.
2. Students are assigned to do off-campus training, internships and learn in other community-based teaching hospitals. Courses are designed to strengthen medical students' clinical skills through PBL, OSCE and Case Demonstration and cultivate students’ attitude of self-learning.
3. The Clinical Skill Learning Center was established to help students to practice clinical skills (Hands On). The center has purchased Simman, the computer-controlled simulation technology, for students’ training. The special designs of Simman could help students to conduct clinical skills training, such as administering anesthesia, ACLS, ATLS and intubation.
4. During their clerkships, students participate in clinical work as well as interact with and care for patients.
