Master’s Program on Law and Negotiation for Global Trade

This practice-based Master program is one of a kind in Taiwan.
Its primary objective is to equip students with relevant legal knowledge and communicative skills for effective trade promotion/conflicts management in the real world of global business.
The program will recruit local as well as international students from Autumn Semester 2017.
This program consists of compulsory courses ,optional core courses and others.
(1) Compulsory courses (taught in English)
Law and Policy of the WTO- WTO法律與政策總論
Speech Communication and Persuasion: theory and practice-口語傳播與說服：理論與實務
International Business Transactions and the Law-跨國商務交易及其法律問題
International Business Negotiation: principles, cases and simulation-貿易談判原理、實例暨模擬演練
WTO Trade Remedy and Dispute Settlement- WTO貿易救濟與爭端解決專題
(2) Optional core courses
Negotiating International Business Contracts: Asian perspectives (taught in English) -國際商約談判實務：亞洲觀點
International Commercial ADR(taught in English) -國際商務替代爭端解決專題
Antidumping Law and Practice-反傾銷實務專題
International Taxation and Cross-border Merger/Acquision-國際租稅與跨國購併
Conflicts Management(taught in English) -衝突管理
* A wide selection of business related subjects offered by NTUB College of Business will be available
(3) Others
Lectures by Guest Speakers專題講座 /Internship實習 /Dissertation or Practice-based Project畢業論文或技術報告
An optional dual degree program will be operated in collaboration with a leading law school in Australia (University of Technology Sydney Law School).
The successful students (first year in Taipei, second year in Australia) will get a business degree from NTUB plus a degree from the Australian Law School.
